Project Grace Story

The mission and purpose of Project Grace is support those groups who provide food for those who are hungry, and who support individuals and families, including veterans, toward moving out of homelessness and finding safe, stable living conditions. Project Grace SD has a special emphasis on groups that help our unhoused veterans.

FEATURED EXAMPLE PARTNERSHIP
We've been able to work in tandem with Pacific Beach United Methodist Church for their Wednesday Night Ministry for a while now. Each week they serve individuals with a hot, nutritious meal. They also host a medical/dental clinic and other needed services. They have a long history of caring for our unhoused veterans and even have a program trading shower and laundry use for volunteering during the weekly meals. This program provides a source of dignity and a way for them to feel the satisfaction of caring for others, even when they need caring for! This is a perfect fit for support from Project Grace SD, and we plan to continue supporting them, and similar groups, doing good deeds for those in need.
